Strategic Planning

Strategic planning approaches are as unique as each organization with which we work – from below $100 million to over $3 billion. Your planning session may be as simple as a reaffirmation of an existing plan or as complex as a three year plan complete with first year action plans for all operating areas. Each assignment is customized to the client but could include:

  • Agenda development with management
  • Research into the company’s financial and competitive situation
  • An on-line SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) survey of executives, management, and board members
  • An in depth survey of operating processes stratified by management, employee and department
  • Tabulation of SWOT and other surveys
  • Preparation of agendas and advance communication with participants
  • Pre-meeting materials and packets
  • Facilitation of the on site planning session(s)
  • Summary and documentation of the plan determined at the session
  • Facilitation of follow up sessions with management to develop tactical plans to achieve the strategic goals
  • Follow up reporting and documentation as necessary
